Nader Shahid, PT, DPT

Therapeutic Pain Specialist

Nader is a California Licensed physical therapist has been practicing since 1993. He moved to sunny California with his wife Mary Shahid in 1993. He worked as Director of Rehabilitation at San Dimas Community Hospital for over 10 years. Nader fulfilled his dream to open his own private practice in November 2002. He is trained in sports medicine, orthopedics, and manual therapy. He is continually increasing his knowledge and manual skills by regularly attending specialty continuing education seminars. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy in March 2018 with a Therapeutic Pain Specialist Certification.

When not at work, Nader loves to spend time with his family, playing soccer and traveling. Nader also serves as a deacon and assists in serving the youth at his local church.

Mary Shahid, PT, DPT

Mary is a California Licensed physical therapist who graduated in 1998 from Cairo University and has been California board practicing since 1992. Mary has a great interest in pain management, orthopedics and manual therapy and has focused on related topics throughout her ongoing education. She has a passion for Fibromyalgia patients and is constantly updating her knowledge with latest Fibromyalgia research. She is a certified functional manual therapist and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy in March 2018 with a Therapeutic Pain Specialist Certification. When not at work, Mary loves hanging out with her “Big Fat Egyptian” family, swimming, and traveling. Mary loves supporting her local church through youth ministry and various mission organizations.

Parker Vincent, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Parker is from Glendora, California, and went to Baylor University for his undergraduate degree. Go Bears! After college he attended Western University of Health Sciences for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While in last year of School, one of his clinical rotations was at Agape Physical Therapy and we couldn’t get enough of him so he was hired as soon as he graduated. Parker loves outdoor activities such as wakeboarding, mountain biking, and snowboarding. He also loves all sports, especially rugby. He loves building relationships and getting to know all his patients, and is look forward to meeting you!

Shannon Cauley, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Shannon is from Upland, California and attended California State University-Monterey Bay, where she received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. She worked as a rehabilitation technician and pre-employment screener for an outpatient orthopedic clinic for 7 years before attending Loma Linda University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, where she graduated with Honors and received the Physical Therapy Faculty Award. She came to Agape as a first year student and loved it so much, she returned in her third year and was immediately hired after graduation! She is a voracious reader, dog lover, amateur baker, and movie enthusiast.

Robert Muego, PTA

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

Robert graduated from American Career College’ Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2017. He became very passionate about manual therapy and orthopedics after completing one of his clinical rotations at Agape PT. Nader saw his talent, skill and personable character, that after passing his State Board of California Licensing exam, he was hired immediately as a Staff PTA. He continues to attend post-graduate manual therapy classes to increase his skill and knowledge in that field and is working towards an advanced certification in orthopedics for PTA’s. When not at work he is passionate about spending time with his family, hiking, and playing badminton.

Gigi Kolta

Office Manager

Gigi has been a member of the Agape family for 15 years. She lived in Egypt for the first part of her life and came to the United States in 1996. She started off working as a math teacher for about 5 years before coming to work at Agape. Gigi is passionate about helping others and loves seeing the patients improve and feel better. In her free time, she enjoys traveling around the world and getting to know about different cultures. One of her favorite things after work is playing with her two dogs Mickey and Snoopy!

Nivine Shahid, OTR/L

Assistant Clinical Director

Nivine graduated from Loma Linda University in 2012 with the highest Honor Summa Cum Laude in Masters of Occupational Therapy. Nivine is a California licensed Occupational Therapist with 9 years of experience in the occupational therapy field. She completed one of her fieldwork in City of Hope and immediately got hired after graduating and completing her boards. Nivine became a senior occupational therapist in City of Hope Medical Center with expertise in ICU and surgical floors as well as outpatient services. Nivine then joined Agape Physical Therapy as an Assistant Clinical Director. She will use her leadership and management skills to ensure that everyone walking through our doors receives the highest possible service and attention to their problem. Outside of work, Nivine enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, doing art projects, and cooking.

Amber Jimenez

Receptionist

Amber was born and raised in Southern California. After high school, she continued her education at Mount San Antonio College and graduated in 2016. She discovered her passion for helping others and has worked in customer service for 6 years. In December of 2017, she was welcomed into the Agape family with open arms. One of her favorite things about her job is being able to connect with patients and talk with them every time they come in and ensure a smooth front office experience. In her free time, she enjoys having game nights with her husband and two-year-old daughter. Some of her other hobbies include hiking and shopping.
